John Cena Oh NoEs!

It's no secret to the people that know me that I'm a fan of wrestling maybe not as much as I once was because seriously the WWE has been going down hill for a while.

I'm a fan of John Cena the wrestler I'll admit it I've traveled hours out of my way to meet him and he's and awesome guy. I watched The Marine just because he was in it did a review on it for the college paper and I'll just say that it wasn't pretty. The guy has no acting ability. I want emotion! It's really getting at me that someone decided to actually cast him in another movie 12 steps or another playing pretty much the same part that he did in The Marine, a soilder-esque dude trying to save his wife. WTF! I can't say it enough he complete blows at acting. For everyone's sake I hope he took some lesson's before filming this one.

And now we move on to Randy friggin' Orton. Is it just me or does this guy need to go choke on his lager than it should be ego? I can't believe that they had him win the Royal Rumble. And tonight Shane O'Mac's wresting has really gone down hill with age. You could see half of the punches not even land on Orton, he was swinging his arms like a blind kid at a pinata fest. I don't want Orton to be fired (thought it would've been nice if he was instead o kickingin Vince's head) but the gimmic has to change. I used to like him but as with a few other's it got old and annoying really fast.

Oh man what can I say about what happened betweent he Hardy's last night? Nothing because I loved it! Come on Matt turing on Jeff in a match with Edge it was amazing! I can't really explain why I feel that way I'm a fan of all of their's more Jeff and Edge than Matt, but wow.
Now we can only hope Matt and edge turn out to be secret lovers WTF!?

What is Literature?

I haven't mentioned it before, but my new semester started this past Wednesday, butI didn't have all my classes until yesterday. The class I had yesterday was contemorary literature with the new english professor. Though I've been a student at UMFK for three years now I have never had a class like this one before.
I was also going to take American Lit. with this same teacher but the class was canceled so I'm once again stuck in a class revolving around poetry (I'm sorry I'm a story teller not a poet, three years of this stuff is a bit much, and I have had a class that has something to do with poetry every single semester.)

Now it seems that I've been asked this question "What is Literature?" at the begining of every single english class I have taken it's getting old and boring. I know what literature is to me and I know what it is to most other people.

So now for your reading pleasure here is what I think literature is (and hopfully I'll never have to answer this question again)

What is Literature?

It seems I’ve been asked this question in many of the English classes I have taken over the years. Everyone always has a different opinion. Does the authour's work have to be of novel length and hold great importance? Should it also be considered a classic from a year when most people hadn't even been born yet? I don’t think like that.
Though many different answers come up during discussions I’ve been a part of on this topic and I respect everyone’s thoughts to me literature will always be a work of art in the written word. I believe anything that is written can be considered literature whether it be a novel, an epic poem, or even a haiku. And really what does classic mean? A book from a year ago can be considered a classic. I know I've read my share of books in recent years that I would right now consider a clssic and a wonderful peice of literature.
As long as what is written holds some significance, something that makes them think and stays with them for a while, to another person think it should be considered a work of literature.

Mortality

I have recently decided that besides being an author I would seriously like to become a mortician. I know ew right having to deal with dead bodies… I don’t think so I think it’d be interesting and kind of fun… so I have a messed up mind, who doesn’t? It’d only be another two years of school and I’d be in a business that never dies out (haha) everyone dies that trend is not gonna stop anytime soon.
My mother is pretty grossed out over the fact that I would like to surround myself with the dead. She's already complained to my aunt, who is also nastified out by it and she’s already tried to talk me out of it more than once and I’ve only made this choice about two days ago. I think it would actually help with my writing (one of my reasons for wanting to do it.) Morticians deal with the dead person’s family… name a better way to get ideas for how people die then to actually hear about it. So she’s says that if that’s what I want it for she’ll get me an interview with a mortician and I can shadow them for a day or something. No thanks.
I’m more a driver than a passenger.
I wanna drain the blood not observe it happening.

We’ll see what happens.

AHH MY FINGERS!!

I'm just popping into tell you that it's not a good idea to stick four of your fingers into two Chinese finger traps ... just not... just dont do it, it wasn't all that much funny.... hilarious my I actually got my fingers stuck for a few seconds but damn. :D

Earlobes

So here's an interesting fact though it is kinda sick.. so if you're squimish in any way don't read it.
I can now fit a Q-tip through the hole in my earlobe ... it works really well for putting bacitracin in there when it's time to stretch them again (Yes! I use antibacterial jell to stretch my ears... doesn't everyone? lol)

Memories

It just so happens that today is not only Martin Luther King Jr. day but also the birthday of a wonderful poet. One of my favorites, Edgar Allen Poe. He would be 200 years old today.. wouldn't that be amazing?
I believe both of these men should be remembered for what they gave to the world respectivly so in honor of them both I'll leave you with a poem by the poet of day himself....
